Chandima is a Sri Lankan born food science professional whose lifelong curiosity for flavour, quality, and wellbeing has shaped a vibrant career in the food industry. With a BSc in Food Science and Technology and an MSc in Nutrition, she has always been fascinated by the way food can bring both joy and nourishment.

Her career has taken her through an array of food categories from sauces and dressings to jellies, dry blends, seasonings, flavours, and colours. Working so closely with such diverse products has given her a deep appreciation for how ingredients interact, how quality is crafted, and how flavour can tell a story all on its own.

Joining Conga Foods, a company known for delivering premium olive oil products to Australian consumers, opened the door to a new passion: extra virgin olive oil. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a genuine fascination. This journey led her to Savantes, where she immersed herself in varietal characteristics, flavour profiling, and the natural health benefits of olive oil. Becoming a Savantes Associate has further fuelled her desire to keep learning, exploring, and sharing her knowledge with others.
